Knox 2010 was a successful event. Gavin finished 3rd in class and in the top half overall in a highly competitive event. Check out this video of the final run. Although this run didn't count for points he finished with a 2:07 only .5 sec off his fastest time ever at Knox.

First novice race of the year went of without a hitch. Getting there was a different story. After speaking with pretty much every director in the CACC club I was barely able to get approval to race. The problem,the Subaru's engine swap. The new engine puts the car in GT class; however the car's safety equipment is only up to par for the Improved Production (IP) Class. I was able to get approval to run the novice race, but would need a fuel cell and fire system before I upgrade my license.

Who would have thunk this guy could drive a car, let alone win a race. Well it finally happened. Todd Dunlop took his 199X Acura Integra for a ride to the checkered paddock. No milk was waiting just a cheap trophy with an incorrect label, "1st place, Bumble Bees". I'm pretty sure Todd races Hornet class, but maybe next year we'll see him run with the Bees. Anythings possible now a days.
